The Creative Director
Sherlock Holmes once said, “You know my method. It is founded upon the observation of trifles.”
Equipped with powers of deduction and a full set of skills, I aim to solve creative challenges by studying the details, spotting the patterns, and pulling all the parts together to form solid solutions.
I find inspiration in the little mysteries of life. In this way, I like to engage people with marketing and design. I invite you to gather your wits about you and join me.
My name is Alisha Fund and I am a Denver-based creative professional. I am particularly passionate about education, typography, and brand.
Currently, I work as the VP of Brand + Marketing at SecureSet, a cybersecurity academy based in Denver, CO. I lead all of the marketing efforts at SecureSet including brand, digital marketing, community development, customer service, and the overall customer journey.
I started with SecureSet in 2015 and was an integral part of the company's growth from 6 employees and one campus to ~50 employees and 5 campuses. Being involved from the beginning, I was able to build the brand from the ground up as the senior creative, and eventually as the director of a small team of creatives (designers, copywriters, and web developers). I have proven skills in not only brand development, but in community management and digital marketing. Starting in January 2019, I began my role as the VP of Brand + Marketing, improving the lead pool by 50% within three months of assuming the position.
Prior to SecureSet, I was the Creative Director and Owner of ALFU Design. During this time I also served as an instructor at BYU-Idaho teaching both Graphic Design and Typography courses, simultaneously pursuing my Masters in Graphic Design.
I hold an MFA in Graphic Design from Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and a BA in Marketing from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT.
